Beg Friend

Beg Friend is multi-instrumentalist and composer Joe da Costa from South London. Although his cinematic and alternative pop sensibilities are rooted in deeply poetic lyrics encapsulated with epic soundscapes, Beg Friend also journeys through brooding guitar led folk, intricate electronica and intimately produced vocal lines. Stylistically, the songs can be found sitting somewhere between Elliot Smith and Thom Yorke.

As well as working on forthcoming EP ‘Make Shift’ (22nd November 2019 - Babylegs Records), Joe’s music has been featured on adverts for Tesco, Xbox, Pokemon and notably ITV’s Delivery Man in which he also appeared as a recurring character. Joe is also a revered actor and having appeared in Mamma Mia 2 and EastEnders.
